1. Use your index finger, middle finger, and ring finger together to press and massage the temple area on both sides

2. Use your index and middle fingers to pinch your earlobes and rub them up and down, then apply pressure on the front and back of your ears for about one count, doing 10-15 repetitions

3. Use the thumb of your hand to press the back of your neck on both sides. You can also massage the area if you like

4. Use the thumb of your hand to press the muscles on both sides of your spine near the back of your neck (not on the bones of your spine)

5. Then, slide your thumb over to the second spot, which is one inch away from the first spot

6. Use the palm of your hand to press, squeeze, and massage the back of your neck or rub it strongly until it’s warm. Then, use the palm of your hand to squeeze the opposite shoulder until it’s warm, on both sides

7. Soak a towel in warm water and wring it out until damp. Use it to apply a warm compress to the back of your neck and both shoulders, as well as your upper back
